Yes — free forever for personal use. Cyfron is source available: the full source code is yours to read, modify and run for any non-commercial use. Only commercial use requires a paid license. We make money by licensing it to companies that build it into their products, so we never need to make money from you, your data or your attention.
No. There is nothing to sign up for. When you open the app for the first time, your device creates a unique key — that's your identity. No email, no phone number, no password.
Only the people you send them to. Cyfron encrypts everything on your device before it leaves. Not even we can read your messages, files or calendar — there is no server in the middle that ever sees them.
Before you do, you set up a second device or a recovery key — a one-time setup that takes a minute. If you ever lose a device, you remove it from the others and carry on. No "forgot password" email needed, because there is no password.
Yes. Everything lives on your devices. Move to a new phone or computer with a backup file — your messages, mail, calendar, contacts and signed documents come with you. Nothing is locked behind a platform.
