Free for almost everyone. Personal use, study, research — and any business or organisation earning under €500,000 a year — use Cyfron for free, forever, with the full source code to read, modify and run. Once your organisation (together with the companies it controls or is controlled by) earns more than €500,000 a year and uses Cyfron in its business — whether you build it into a product or simply run your work on it — you pay a license fee, starting the following year. Those fees fund the team, so we never need to make money from your data or your attention.
No. There is nothing to sign up for. When you open the app for the first time, your device creates a unique key — that's your identity. No email, no phone number, no password.
Only the people you send them to. Cyfron encrypts everything on your device before it leaves. Not even we can read your messages, files or calendar — there is no server in the middle that ever sees them.
Before you do, you set up a second device or a recovery key — a one-time setup that takes a minute. If you ever lose a device, you remove it from the others and carry on. No "forgot password" email needed, because there is no password.
Yes. Everything lives on your devices. Move to a new phone or computer with a backup file — your messages, mail, calendar, contacts and signed documents come with you. Nothing is locked behind a platform.
